Glaad 2013: ecco tutte le nominations
Sono già state annunciate le nomination e i candidati ai Glaad Media Awards 2013. Per chi non lo sapesse, si tratta di premi che vengono assegnati alle produzioni seriali e cinematografiche che meglio trattano argomenti come l’omosessualità. Suddette nominations vengono assegnate dalla Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (LGBT), ovvero dalla comunità lesbo, gay, bisex e transgender.
Il presidente Glaad Herndon Graddick ha detto in merito:
I candidati di quest’anno illuminano e divertono, ma riflettono anche la nuova America dove una crescente maggioranza della popolazione accetta e valorizza i propri familiari, colleghi e amici LGBT. Ora più che mai gli spettatori non solo accettano personaggi e gay e trans, e le trame dedicate a loro, ma loro se l’aspettano, proprio come accettano e si aspettano di avere a fianco persone LGBT che hanno un ruolo importante della loro vita di tutti i giorni.
